Project facts / overview
This is the largest capital project in UW Athletics’ history at $285 million.
This project is student-athlete performance focused and non-revenue generating.
The facility will include a new 100-yard indoor football field with proper height for full practice use, a new strength and conditioning center, an indoor track, student-athlete dining space, team meeting rooms, and other dedicated training and student-athlete support spaces.
In the expanded Big Ten Conference, Wisconsin is one of the last institutions to make a major capital investment in a football practice facility. Investment in a training facility like this will allow Wisconsin to compete at the highest level.
JP Cullen, Berners Schober and HOK will assist in the design and construction of the project which is scheduled to begin in 2025.
